What counts as a seat?
Every person with their own login needs a seat. Seats are floating and reassignable, so you can move access when staffing changes. Solo is a single seat - just you. Team starts at 3 seats and scales to 20; add seats anytime for $80/mo each, or $67/mo when billed yearly. Running a team of 15 or more? Enterprise gives you custom pricing.
What happens when I need to add a teammate?
Solo is capped at one seat, so the moment a second person needs in, you move to Team. On Team you can add seats up to 20 from your billing settings at any time, and a new teammate gets access immediately. From 15 seats, Enterprise is worth a conversation - volume pricing, more credits, and firm-wide admin controls.
What does Enterprise add over Team?
Everything in Team, plus the controls a growing firm needs: Single Sign-On (SSO) and SCIM user provisioning through your identity provider, an organization-wide audit log, per-member usage analytics, groups for organizing users by office or discipline, and locked, versioned company-wide design standards. You also get 100,000 AI credits/mo, a 24-hour support SLA with quarterly engineer-led project reviews, live training for every office, custom API and data integrations, in-app priority feature requests, and a security review and DPA for your IT team. Pricing is custom for teams of 15+.
What are AI credits, and what if I run out?
Credits power HVAKR AI: extracting project details from floor plans, auto-assigning ASHRAE space types, and reviewing or editing your model. Solo includes 1,500 credits/mo, Team 10,000/mo (+1,000 credits per additional seat), and Enterprise 100,000/mo (+2,000 credits per additional seat). Run low? Buy more on demand at $10 per 1,000 credits. No plan change required.
Can I switch plans or change billing later?
Yes. Upgrade, add seats, or switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time from your account. Billing yearly gives you 2 months free.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: 14 days on Solo and 30 days on Team. Start designing real projects before you decide.
Is my project data safe?
HVAKR is fully cloud-based, so your work is saved and backed up automatically. Nothing to install, sync, or maintain. Your data stays yours, and you can export project data and gbXML on Team and Enterprise plans.
